Important — Bind Email Carefully
The product key will be permanently bound to the Microsoft account (email) you use during setup. This cannot be changed later. Choose your email account carefully before proceeding.
Installation & Activation Steps

Uninstall Existing Office Packages
Open Finder on your Mac and go to the Applications folder.
Locate any existing Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel or PowerPoint and move them to Trash.
Empty the Trash and then restart your Mac so old Office files do not interfere with the new installation.

Open the Official Setup Page
Open Safari, Chrome or any browser and visit setup.office.com.

Sign In or Create a Microsoft Account
If you already have a Microsoft account such as abc@outlook.com or abc@hotmail.com, sign in with it.
If you do not have one, click Create a new account and finish the signup process first.
The product key will be permanently bound to this email. This cannot be changed later, so choose the account carefully.

Enter the Product Key
After login, enter the 25-character product key exactly as provided in your purchase email.
Select India as the region and English as the language, unless you specifically need a different option.

Download the Office Installer
Once the key is accepted, click Download and wait until the installer is fully downloaded.
You will usually get a Mac installer file like Microsoft_Office_Installer.pkg.

Install Office on Your Mac
Go to Finder → Downloads, locate the downloaded .pkg file and double-click it.
Follow the on-screen steps, accept the license agreement, choose the install destination and complete the installation.

Open Any Office Application
After installation, open the Applications folder and launch Word, Excel or any Office app.

Finish Activation
When asked, sign in using the same Microsoft account that you used on setup.office.com.
The app will verify your account and activate Office automatically. After that, all apps will be ready to use.
You now have full access to Office 2021 Home & Business for Mac including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
